1. Enhance the efficacy of dandruff suppressants
Biomimetic phospholipid PTM can enhance the efficacy of the anti dandruff agent pyroxene ethanolamine (OCT) in shampoo. OCT has anti-inflammatory and bactericidal effects. To demonstrate the performance of PTM in improving OCT efficacy, antibacterial rings were used in commercially available shampoo without dandruff reducing agents.

So lower efficiency preservatives, such as phenoxyethanol, are increasingly being used.
