Product Description:

 

Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine is a conditioning agent and co-emulsifier. It is electrostatically substantive & improves wet and dry combing. It provides good static control and conditioning without build-up. Functions as hair or skin conditioner and primary o/w emulsifier through partial neutralization. As hair conditioner, does not build-up and improves the substantivity of proteins and quaternary conditioners.

It can be used as a co-emulsifier in skin care product: for this use it should be incorporated in the oil phase; the pH of the water phase should be in the range of 6.5 to 5.5 when the phases are joined. Additional acid can be added after the emulsion has been formed without affecting the stability of the system.
